Who we are
WebLabsIndia is a web development business based at 78C, SBP Complex, Sector 126, Greater Mohali, Punjab, India. In these terms, “we” means WebLabsIndia and “you” means the person or company placing an order.
Your account
You must give accurate details when you sign up and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you think it has been accessed without your permission. We may suspend accounts that are used for fraud or abuse.
Orders, packages and quotes
Basic, Standard, Premium and Corporate are fixed-price packages that you can order online. E-commerce and Customised projects are quoted within the published range after you share your scope; the quote becomes binding when you accept it in the dashboard and pay the advance. Package descriptions summarise typical scope. The written scope we confirm for your order is the final record of what is included.
Prices, currency and tax
Prices are shown in Indian rupees (INR) and US dollars (USD) and exclude tax. Clients in India are charged 18% GST: CGST 9% and SGST 9% where the billing state is Punjab, otherwise IGST 18%. USD invoices for overseas clients are issued without Indian GST where the export of services rules apply. Taxes, duties or bank charges in your own country are your responsibility. We are not tax advisers.
The currency on your invoice is the currency you chose at checkout. USD amounts are fixed in dollars; we do not adjust them for exchange-rate movement after the invoice is issued.
Payment
Work starts when the advance stated on your invoice has been received and confirmed. The balance is invoiced before final handover. Clients in India pay by UPI or bank transfer; overseas clients pay by international bank wire. A payment counts as received only when it reaches our bank account and we have matched it to your invoice. If a wire is short because of intermediary bank fees, we will ask for the difference before handover.
Scope, documents and changes
You can upload a scope of work, software requirements specification (SRS), website requirements specification (WRS) and other files to your project. We review them and confirm the scope in writing. Changes after confirmation are handled as change requests and may change the price or timeline; we will tell you before doing any extra work. Delays caused by late content, feedback or approvals move the timeline accordingly.
Revisions and acceptance
Each package includes the number of revision rounds listed on the pricing page. A revision round is one consolidated set of changes within the confirmed scope. Requests that add pages, features or integrations are changes to scope, not revisions. A deliverable is treated as accepted when you approve it in writing, or when you use it live.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the content, images, fonts and other material you provide, and you confirm that you have the right to use them. You will not ask us to build anything unlawful, deceptive, infringing or harmful. You are responsible for lawful use of the finished site, including privacy notices, cookie consent and any licences your business needs.
Ownership of the work
Once all invoices for the project are paid in full, you own the website design and the custom code written for you. Third-party components, frameworks and fonts remain under their own licences. Until payment is complete, we keep ownership of the work and may withhold handover. We may show non-confidential screenshots of finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Domain and hosting
Domain registration and hosting are set up in your name and billed by the provider at cost unless we agree otherwise in writing. We are not responsible for outages or changes made by third-party providers.
Support after launch
Support after launch is limited to the period stated in your package or quote. Ongoing maintenance is a separate paid service agreed in writing.
Timelines
Timelines we give are estimates based on the confirmed scope and on you supplying what we need on time. We will tell you promptly if we expect a delay.
Confidentiality
We treat the documents and information you upload as confidential and use them only to deliver your project. This does not apply to information that is already public or that we are legally required to disclose.
No guarantees on rankings or revenue
We build sites with search engines in mind, but we do not guarantee any ranking, traffic, enquiries or sales. Search engines and platforms are outside our control. We will fix defects in our work that are reported to us within 30 days of handover, at no charge, where they fall within the confirmed scope.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost profit or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Cancellation and termination
Either of us may end a project in writing. Refunds on cancellation are covered by the refund policy. We may stop work if an invoice is overdue or if you breach these terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will try to resolve any dispute by talking first. If that fails, the courts at Mohali, Punjab have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under mandatory law where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order. The date at the top of this page shows the latest update.
